Janice Cheong – Mortgage Broker
Hi, I’m Janice, a Melbourne-based mortgage broker at Loan Location with over 10 years of experience in the finance industry. Since becoming a mortgage broker in 2019, I’ve helped first home buyers, families, refinancers, and investors navigate the home loan process with clarity, confidence, and a lot less stress.
I’m known for taking a straightforward, practical approach to home loans. I take the time to understand what you’re trying to achieve, explain your options clearly, and help you choose a loan that actually fits your life — not just one that looks good on paper. My goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported, and comfortable every step of the way.
As a mum, I understand how important financial security and long-term planning can be. I don’t see my role as a one-off transaction; I focus on building long-term relationships and being someone my clients can come back to whenever they need advice, whether that’s for their next purchase, a refinance, or just a quick question.
Outside of work, I’ve recently discovered pickleball and learned that exercise doesn’t have to be painful to be effective — much like finding the right home loan once you’ve got the right guidance.

Director/Mortgage BrokerTony Walsh brings over 20 years of experience in sales, negotiation, and client advisory, having commenced his career at just 19 before transitioning into mortgage broking in 2017.
As the founder of Loan Location, Tony specialises in home loans, refinancing, debt consolidation, and property finance, supporting clients through every stage of their lending journey.
Tony entered the mortgage industry during one of its most challenging eras, navigating the Royal Commission, the COVID-19 pandemic, and ongoing regulatory reform. Rather than retreating, he adapted—continually refining his strategies and approach to ensure his clients remained well-positioned in an evolving market.
With a strong background in high-pressure environments, Tony is known for his strategic thinking and advanced negotiation skills. He takes a structured, transparent approach to lending, empowering clients to make confident, well-informed financial decisions.
